One more dream to fulfill! It is with immense joy that I can finally announce that I have been accepted to go to Berklee College of Music for a master’s degree in Music Production, Technology and Innovation. I have always dreamed of being able to go to the place where great artists like Quincy Jones, John Mayer and Juan Luis Guerra have studied and I am very honored to be part of a select group for this program in the campus of Valencia, Spain. I am giving up my job, putting in everything I have and packing my entire life in a suitcase to fulfill my dream and do what I am most passionate about in the best place in the world. I just need some support.
Everyone who knows me knows how passionate I am with music. I have been a singer all my life, performing opera, boleros, jazz among others, from a very young age in Honduran media and I’ve had the joy of working with many people that I admire. Music was what opened the doors for me to go to Savannah to study at SCAD, where I had the opportunity to get involved in both my music and design, allowing me to get my degree in Architecture, while singing on many stages, acting in musicals or in concerts with incredible people.
Music has been a source of strength and peace when I need it most and in recent years it has become a means to share my emotions with others. I love to sing, but when I sing one of my own songs, I get to form a bond with which I connect with the people who listen to me. My dream is that my music can transcend and can redefine its environment. That people can connect with my message through the experience that I want to share. Being an architect, I learned that I can make someone have a spatial experience through my architecture and that it is not so different from the cathartic moment that I can cause with my music. I want you to feel the authenticity of my message because I have so many things to say.
I'm excited to explore the relationship between my music and my architecture at Berklee, digging into my own Latin roots, to celebrate not only my identity but the honor I have of being part of a great community and coming from a beautiful country like Honduras. That is why I am putting everything as well as giving up my job to dedicate myself fully to fulfill this dream. I have thankfully received help from the university, and I am putting everything I have to cover some expenses, but I need some support to be able to cover part of the tuition and housing expenses in Valencia. If I can raise $10,000 I will have reached the goal for this dream.
I have many projects in mind, lots of music to come and I will personally thank you along with music just for you as a token of my appreciation. I am planning as well to perform virtual concerts on my social media, taking requests as we get closer to the goal. I know that these are difficult times so if you cannot support me with funds, you can support me by sharing this link which I would deeply appreciate it, as well as if you want to express your support with a message, it would really mean a lot to me.
This has been a dream come true, which even in the current times that we live, I feel that I have to take advantage of this opportunity and go after it!

¡Un sueño más por cumplir! Es con una inmensa alegría el poder anunciar finalmente que me han aceptado para ir a Berklee College of Music para una maestría en Music Production, Technology and Innovation. Siempre he soñado en poder ir al lugar donde han estudiado grandes que he admirado, desde Quincy Jones, John Mayer hasta Juan Luis Guerra y estoy muy honrado de ser parte de un grupo selecto para este programa en el campus de Valencia, España. Estoy renunciando mi trabajo, invirtiéndolo todo y empacando mi vida entera en una maleta para cumplir mi sueño y hacer lo que mas me apasiona en el mejor lugar del mundo. Solo necesito apoyo.
Toda persona que me conoce sabe lo apasionado que estoy con la música. He sido cantante toda mi vida, interpretando opera, boleros, jazz entre otros géneros en los que he distinguido mi voz. He tenido la dicha de cantar desde muy pequeño en muchos medios hondureños y de haber trabajado con mucha gente que admiro. Fue la música la que me abrió las puertas para irme a Savannah a estudiar en SCAD, donde tuve la oportunidad de involucrarme tanto en mi música como en el diseño, permitiéndome obtener mi titulo en Arquitectura, mientras cantaba en escenarios, actuando en musicales o en conciertos junto a personas increíbles.
La música ha sido una fuente de fuerza y paz cuando más la necesito y durante los últimos años se ha convertido en vehículo para compartir mis emociones con los demás. Siempre me ha fascinado cantar, pero al cantar una de mis canciones, llego a formar un vinculo con el que me conecta de manera tacita con las personas que me escuchan. Mi misión y sueño es que mi música trascienda y que pueda redefinir su entorno. Que la gente pueda conectar con mi mensaje a través de la experiencia que quiero compartir. Siendo arquitecto, aprendí que yo puedo hacer que alguien tenga una experiencia espacial a través de mi arquitectura y que eso no es tan diferente al momento catártico que puedo causar con mi música. Quiero que sientan la autenticidad de mi mensaje porque tengo mucho por decir.
Estoy emocionado en explorar la relación entre mi música y mi arquitectura en Berklee, escarbando en mis propias raíces latinas, para celebrar no solo mi identidad, pero también el honor que tengo de ser parte de una gran comunidad y venir de un país tan bello como Honduras. Es por eso, que estoy poniéndolo todo al igual que renunciar a mi trabajo para dedicarme totalmente a cumplir este sueño. He recibido ayuda de la universidad, y estoy poniendo todo lo que tengo para cubrir gastos, pero necesito de apoyo para poder cubrir parte de la colegiatura y los gastos de vivienda en Valencia. Si puedo recaudar $10,000 habré llegado a la meta para este sueño.
Tengo muchos proyectos en mente, mucha música por venir y te agradeceré personalmente con música como muestra de agradecimiento, también hare conciertos virtuales en mis redes a medida que nos acerquemos a la meta.
