Fighting Covid for Keven Lightner

Hi to all Keven's supporters and prayer warriors. We are Lance and Kelly Leipold,  long time football family and friends of the Lightner’s.  As a lot of you know Keven is in the hospital in Lincoln critically ill with Covid.  Keven had returned to Lincoln from Japan to spend time with his kids and attend his son Kade's graduation. Unfortunately he contracted Covid and was never able to attend the graduation. As his symptoms worsened he was admitted to the hospital and has remained in extremely critical condition. Their son Kade is currently quarantined, showing Covid symptoms as well. Keven has a huge football family and what better time than now to show our support not only Keven but his two amazing kids Kade and Alexis, as well as his ex wife Erin who continues to be by his side throughout this battle. The saddest thing about this is Keven is employed in Japan and has their national insurance. He thought it covered him in the US.  Unfortunately, after some investigating by Erin the coverage does NOT cover US hospitalizations, let alone the level of ICU critical care being provided to try and save his life.  This could be weeks, months, or longer.  They need to be able to get him back, and not worry about  the mounting medical costs.  Keven or his family would never ask for any help but as long time friends we feel it is time to help a football family member now more than ever. They continue to ask for prayers for Keven as he fights this horrific virus. This  money will help offset the astronomical cost of the devastation this virus has caused including  rehabilitation.
