Support Noda Yoga

Noda Yoga, co-owned by Jillian Longsworth and Craig Rasmussen, is a boutique yoga studio located in the heart of Noda neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina.  This space offers various styles of Yoga and truly caters to everyBODY.  Their mission is to bring Yoga to all people no matter their age, abilities, income levels, race, etc.  Jillian and her staff have a passion for Accessible Yoga as well as Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.  Even during these times, Jillian continues to offer "Pay What You Can" classes and never lets finances get in the way of someone attending a class. 

Noda Yoga has been shut down for in person classes since March 17, 2020.  They are abiding by the Governor's orders and continue to offer online classes only.  Recently, Phase 2 was extended for 5 weeks to be reassessed on September 11.  With Yoga studios, gyms, and other small businesses closing left and right, we cannot let Noda Yoga go away!!  This place is such a gem to the community and offers what no other studio in the Charlotte area offers.

After talking with Jillian, she is worried about the future of Noda Yoga and she does not want to shut down.  Before COVID, there were plans to open a 2nd studio in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Charlotte.  As the developers are working on options with them, this fundraiser is for the current space in Noda.  Jillian wants to emphasize that the money will go to paying the teachers who continue to teach online and pay for operating costs of the physical space.  She believes that we can survive through the year with $20k.
