2020 Assumption Marist Solidarity Quelicai Appeal

Tax deductible
Since the mid 2000s, as the people of Timor Leste tried to rebuild their nation, their lives, their economy and in particular their education system from the devastation and destruction of the Indonesian withdrawal from the country in 1999, Assumption College Kilmore, in conjunction with Australian Marist Solidarity, have sponsored education projects in the district of Baucau.

Currently, Assumption College Kilmore is committed to raising $AUS25,000 to help rebuild the primary school in the village of Quelicai (pictured). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus pandemic this year, not only has the College had to cancel it's annual immersion experience for staff and students, but the traditional fundraising activities that accompanied this immersion have not been able to take place.

But the desperate need for educational facilities remains. As does Assumption College Kilmore's commitment to its annual sponsorship of this project in Quelicai.

We are looking for your support to help us once again achieve and go beyond our fundraising commitment this year.
