Help Secure Housing For A Youth Organizer

Hey y’all! My name is Alycia Kamil I’m a youth organizer from Chicago and I’m apart of the org GoodKidsMadCity! I’m creating this gofundme to raise money in order to finally secure a stable housing situation. I have been experiencing some toxic home environments, as well as needing the space to not worry about being displaced due to my work involving me to continuously go out during this pandemic. I desperately could use the space to mentally heal myself. Instead of constantly spending money on booking hotel rooms, or staying with other friends, I wanted to finally secure a place of my own to avoid the risk of running into more unstable situations. Looking for jobs is something I’m actively working on and I do have part time work that’s bringing in some income but not enough to secure housing. I’m looking to move by August.
