Justice for Crystal Ragland Legal Action Fund

On May 30, 2019, Crystal Ragland was murdered by two Huntsville City police officers. She was an Army veteran that suffered from PTSD and schizophrenia and was experiencing a psychotic break during the time of her murder. Officers were called to her home with prior knowledge of Crystal's condition and preceded to her home with drawn weapons. Within a 60 second encounter with HPD, Crystal was shot and killed in front of her home.

Huntsville Police Department has yet to publicly release the names of the officers that were involved, the details of the public investigation and the family has yet to receive an apology or any acknowledgement from the City of Huntsville or HPD in regards to Crystal's death.

This is a legal defense fund to secure legal representation for the family of Crystal Ragland. She deserves an external investigation and we the family would like to pursue legal action for Wrongful Death and violation of her Civil Rights. Crystal served our country and now it's time for her country to serve her!
