Life Saving Surgery for Yuna
Our little Yuna is just a year old and she's already fighting for her life. She is diagnosed with a rare condition called Intestinal Intussusception. This basically means there is a blockage in her intestinal tract, and without surgery, it is fatal.
Yuna is the sweetest little girl. She absolutely adores people, playing fetch, annoying her older brother, and giving kisses. The day we adopted her from the Huron Valley Humane Society, I knew my life would be changed for the better. That is certainly the case, and I hope she might say the same about us.
Sadly, in the last week, we have seen our bright, lovable girl go from happily playing with her toys, to being barely able to stand up on her own without help. We had no idea how severe her condition was a week ago. We just switched her diet to adult food, and thought maybe she was just adjusting—little did we know how much she was silently suffering until bringing her to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital today.
We've put this together for anyone who may be able to donate towards her life-saving surgery. We are doing all that we can on our end, but every little bit truly helps. We also know how difficult the world is for everyone right now, but if you can spare anything at all, it would mean everything to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
