Il nostro progetto è quello di creare un piccolo centro in grado di fornire terapie, consulenze, attività sportive, settimane riabilitative per bambini, weekend di confronto per fratelli di bambini con disabilità, settimane ricreative per ragazzi con disabilità sensoriale.

L'associazione CaroAnto Amelio Onlus nasce a Roma nel 2014; si occupa di famiglie con bambini e ragazzi disabili. In tale prospettiva, propone e realizza progetti che supportano la riabilitazione, il sostegno alla famiglia e l’integrazione sociale.

Il lavoro svolto fino ad oggi è stato incentrato sui seguenti obiettivi:

- Potenziamento emotivo per il bambino e ragazzo disabile

- Sostegno ai genitori finalizzato ad indirizzare il loro impegno nell'aiutare i propri figli al raggiungimento delle autonomie potenziando le loro capacità a prescindere dalle limitazioni

- Sostegno emotivo a fratelli e sorelle di ragazzi disabili per un vissuto sereno sia nel quotidiano che in prospettiva del futuro

Il CaroAnto è soddisfatto per i risultati ottenuti e per le collaborazioni fino ad ora intraprese con alcuni dei più importanti enti che si occupano di disabilità, ma vorrebbe fare qualcosa di più.

Il centro fornirà alla persona disabile la possibilità di sperimentare le proprie capacità e autonomie, aumentando la consapevolezza del se e dei propri punti di forza.

Noi crediamo che tutto ciò sia realistico e realizzabile ma oneroso dal punto di vista economico. Chiediamo aiuto per la ricerca dei fondi che ne permettano la nascita.

The CaroAnto Amelio project is to create a center able to provide therapies, consultations, sports activities and above all rehabilitation and support weeks for families of children with disabilities.

At our center the traditional and cutting edge therapies will be focused more on the emotional aspects of the person than focusing only on the aspects of the disability.

Furthermore, the center will provide counseling, after-school homework help, recreational activities, rehabilitation and supporting weeks for families of blind children.

The CaroAnto Amelio center will provide the disabled person with the opportunity to test their skills and their autonomy while increasing their awareness.

The CaroAnto Amelio non-profit organization was founded in Rome (Italy) in 2014 and is dedicated to supporting families of children with disabilities.

The work done to date focused on these goals:

- Emotional empowerment of disabled children and teenagers

- Support of parents, aimed at addressing parental commitment to help their children achieve autonomy and to strengthen their capabilities, regardless of their limitations

- Support for siblings to attain more serenity today and in their future

We are pleased with the results achieved so far, but we would like to do more.

The CaroAnto Method is distinct in its targeted support of the siblings and parents of disabled children. This method is distinguished in its nuanced methodologies of observation and treatments that provide individualized and supportive systems for families and individuals.

The center will be primarily intended for people with sensory disabilities (deaf, visually impaired, blind or deaf-and-blind people); and a significant space will be given to families and teachers in order to sustain and support their efforts.

We believe this project is realistic and achievable, but economically very onerous. In order to give birth to our Center we are asking you to support us in the fundraising process.
