Kezia's Masters Degree

**This fundraiser is organised on behalf of Kezia Barikuma Vilawa.

Kezia Vilawa is a graduate of Law and has been called to the Nigerian Bar. She has always wanted to further her education but funding has remained a constant challenge. She got admission offers from the University of Birmingham, UK and City University of New York (John Jay College) in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In 2019, she held an unconditional offer at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where she applied for a highly competitive Graduate Assistantship (GA) and was selected for the GA. Consequently, she received a full tuition waiver for the master’s program with 2 years duration at the Shippensburg University but was unable to secure a study visa.

Currently, she holds a post-graduate admission offer in Public Relations and Multimedia Communications at Solent University, UK and needs your help to make this a reality. This offer is for September intake but seeing that she is already out of time, this offer has been deferred for a Fall 2021 start.

In 2019, she started a podcast, Young in Love, which is fast gaining traction amongst the young people in Nigeria with listenership from over 15 countries including the USA, UK, Canada, Germany and Australia.

Her passion for, and success in podcasting, content creation, corporate social media management and storytelling has fastened her conviction that a masters in PR and Multimedia Communications is the right degree for her to acquire the advanced knowledge and skill set necessary to do better at what she is passionate about.

Kezia has also tried her hands on a short documentary. To find out what she is up to with her Podcast, visit anchor.fm/younginlove or simply search for the ‘Young in Love Podcast’ on Apple or Google Podcast.

Your donations will make all the difference for her and will go towards her tuition fees and a fraction of her living expenses.

This is an invitation to support a young lady’s pursuit for greatness despite the odds stacked against her.

Thank you for your support.
