Oceti Sakowin Treaty Project

Donation protected

Dear Water Protectors and friends,

We are raising money to help support our historic meeting in September in Ft. Laramie WY. We are proud to be participating in this year’s gathering of all Treaty Nations and Councils to forge a new path forward for the Oyate. We will be uniting and rebuilding our Nation Sovereignty and Independence Movement.

All Chiefs, Nacas and treaty councils (at least a representative and 2 enrolled members) to attend: Brule * Oglala * Miniconjou * Yanktonai * Hunkpapa * Blackfeet * Cut Head * Two Kettle * Sans Arcs * Santee * Arapaho * Cheyennes have been invited.

Your donation will go towards, tent rental, P.A. equipment, site rental, food, lodging and travel for elders. This is a three day meeting, which will require many things. We are so incredibly grateful for anything you can do to help in this wonderful effort.

Aho!

Laws, Government, Treaties
The treaties that were signed with the United States government are living documents, and can be enforced. Our goal is to use them.

Our mission is the restoration of Native Lands using our sovereignty, our Treaty Rights, and the US Legal System. Our first priority is the complete stoppage and removal of DAPL. We will be combining efforts with other organizations and effected parties to find the best solutions to these 21st century threats.

The Treaty Project is the continued fight against DAPL and for the recognition of the Treaty Rights. We choose to resist the continued oppression of our people and stand against the blatant and egregious violations of the laws governing our nations.  We will be holding vigil over our sacred waters to bear witness to the wanton violation of the land and waters by [DAPL] — with the full knowledge of the American People and the Federal Government.
