My Healing Path is an interactive workbook designed to help children and their caregivers communicate more effectively during the challenging path to healing and recovery. Filled with drawings, age-appropriate prompts for the patients and care-providers to describe their thoughts and feelings to each other, pain management activities, de-stressing techniques and other resources, this workbook facilitates meaningful interactions between pediatric patients and clinicians. The book is designed to improve not only overall physical health and emotional wellbeing but also to ease the complexities of the healing process as a whole.
This second edition of My Healing Path includes resources and easy-to-understand explanations for coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and offers valuable healthy- lifestyle tips.
