L5: Nonprofit in Memory of Nancy Limburg

Nancy Limburg is an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who know her. She is loved beyond measure and will be missed more than she could have known. As she battled breast cancer with superhero bravery, and again when she finally passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, many of her devoted friends and family have wondered what they can do.
Nancy's family has organized a nonprofit organization called L5: Limburg Literacies, Libraries, Learning, and Lifting. Nancy loved her work as a nurse participating in the miracle of life and caring for those most vulnerable. Nancy's children, as well as her niece and nephew, have taken multiple life-changing humanitarian trips around the world. Her husband Paul also participates in charitable work frequently through his business. They and their extended family have developed many connections to areas and organizations where they can give needed and meaningful aid.
Nancy's family would love to expand their volunteer work and charitable giving together. They have chosen to focus on increasing opportunities for learning through building and broadening access to libraries, creating scholarships for first-generation college students, and other initiatives. They are founding a 501c(3) nonprofit organization so others can contribute to their work. 100% of funds raised here will go directly to the 501c(3) as soon as it is finalized.
This project has been in the works for quite some time, and the Limburg family has decided that now is the perfect time to really see it take off. For those wanting to give something to honor Nancy and show support for her family during this time, in lieu of flowers or other gifts we invite you to consider donating any amount to this cause. Just by virtue of who she is, Nancy has made an immeasurable impact on the lives of those she loves.
