The 40 Acre project originally started because after the George Floyd murder and my time on the frontlines watching the abuse of power by those set to protect us I got pissed and set out to reclaim my 40 acres and a mule as originally promised.
This project grew into what we are now calling #TRYS The Rainbow yurt sanctuary. I pay $600 a month for the land mortgage and I am building, from donations and out of pocket, Tiny cabins that can be offered to Gay, GNC, Trans and Lesbian identified artist of color for free all the while, prioritizing the H.o.H. And deaf community.
What I envision:A nature-based, retreat where LGBTQIA artist of color can reconnect with nature and find peace in a safe, healing atmosphere, meals included, FREE OF CHARGE

We want to let these beautiful, and often downtrodden, community members know that there is a special place for them.... and it’s like gay, but like really really gay
Who TF is Alexandro Rox
Alexandro Rox, (they/them onstage) is an entertainer of 15 + years, Born to disabled parents IN St. Louis MO. and classically trained in theatre and dance, their performance art has been featured on stages from Palladium and La Onda 2000 in Florida to International Mrs. Leather annually in California. They specialize in drag and burlesque. They are unapologetically Black, Trans, a survivor of Malignant Melanoma of The foot, Princet of the twin cities 2020-2021 Monarch King Of Nerdlesque 2019 as of Dec 6th 2020 Mr. Gay USA Minnesota 2020 Mx Ice Castle 2020 And an activist for trans and GNC Rights.
As entertainers, many of us are out of work due to Covid-19. Pandemic closures have taken away my main source of income: live, performance art and live theatre productions. Reaching our crowdfunding goal will insure We do not loose what We have worked so hard for. This land is my home and will be open to others in the community as a place to retreat from the harsh realities of life in the system.
