Pineapple Surgery

Pineapple, unofficial mayor of Fremont Peak Park  and brother to cats Trout and Bob and kids Arlo and Luna, was hit by a car Tuesday night outside of Peak Park. Our fabulous neighbors saw it happen and alerted his family right away, and we were able to find him under the deck of the house next door. He spent the night in the ER, is currently stable and is set to undergo surgery to repair a broken pelvis in the next couple days. As it turns out, he's a superfeline (a raccoon took a toe from him a couple years back). Emergency medical costs are crazy expensive (who woulda thunk it?!), and this fabulous community wants to help. I'm amazed by the outpouring of love for this neighborhood staple kitty (link to his IG, where I post the various weddings he's been in and cute photos of his furry leg boots), and I can't thank you all enough for the support.
