Hunter and Caylin

Donation protected

Caylin and Hunter are an amazing mother and son duo; he’s a strong little epilepsy warrior And she’s his number one advocate.  Hunter’s journey with epilepsy started when he was only (6) days old.  Caylin was shocked when they discovered Hunter had epilepsy. She never imagined he would have it just like his daddy.

Hunter’s dad has intractable epilepsy (medication resistant) and they are anxiously awaiting the doctor’s determination as to whether or not he will be a brain surgery candidate: a surgery that would end his devastating and debilitating seizures. About a year ago, he had a grand mal seizure at work and was put off duty without pay. He’s filed for disability multiple times and been denied each time. They are currently in the process of a second appeal, of which the financial burden lies with Caylin.

Caylin is a hard working and devoted mother. She worked as the sole provider for her family,at a non-profit that helped children and families with epilepsy. That job sadly ended in March and she’s been unable to find work since then.  She’s been doing everything she can to earn food and medical money, including starting her own small business.  But with the eviction stay having been lifted, she’s 4 months behind on rent and doesn’t know how she’ll possibly make ends meet.

If you are able to give, please do. If you cannot, we understand, but please do share this fund page; and if you’re of the praying kind, please send prayers their way. Every little bit helps.  Thank you for reading through this and for anything you can do to help  Have a beautiful day.
