The Wooden Vine is an integral part of Fourth Ward culture. It is a favorite independent establishment to visit and enjoy a beverage and a meal with owners Bethany and Michael.
COVID-19 suppressed their business, and there was an uproar from patrons who were saddened by their sudden closing in August. We have to make sure they can come back...because each of us has, or will have, a great story to tell about the Wooden Vine experience.
My fiancé and I have lived in Uptown for a few years. After work we enjoyed The Wooden Vine for wine, delicious food, and great conversations with employees, local patrons, and knowledgeable travelers passing through town. I got to know the owners well and decided to throw my company’s annual Christmas party there. I've continued that joyous celebration for the past five years.
We can't let this Uptown treasure go under. Please contribute now so great memories can continue to be made at The Wooden Vine.
