Sage Medvec Memorial Fund

On August 31, 2020, we lost one of the kindest and caring individuals to walk this earth to the disease of addiction. Sage Medvec originally from the Struthers/Poland area in Ohio grew up surrounded by a loving mother and two brothers with his grandparents playing a heavy role in his life. Not only was he loved by his family, but by anyone he came into contact with. He had this glaring smile and ferocious laugh that made you feel that his tall, bigger structure was more of a teddy bear personality than any type of intimidation characteristic. Sage was known for at the drop of a dime picking up and going wherever he was needed. If anybody needed any type of assistance, he was there. Sadly addiction doesn't discriminate and Sage had years plagued by this disease until finally he had enough and came with a suitcase to Florida. From that point on the transformation began and you were able to visually see a crippled boy turn into a magnificent man. Sage was cooking and cleaning after himself, doing laundry, work a 9-5, go to bed at a normal hour routinely, he established a functioning home and became the loving parent to a puppy, named Luna. It was a magical sight to see and to this day one of the greatest comeback stories I was able to witness. Sadly, the disease doesn't discriminate and on this tragic Monday, we lost this beautiful soul.

I am asking for support for the family. The cost of this type of unexpected event is through the roof. The goal is to reach $3,000 with hopes of exceeding it if possible. The funds are in honor of the life of Sage Medvec and will go directly to his family for funeral costs, flight expenses, meals, and etc.

Sage will be missed, loved, and most of all continue to live through each and every life he has touched.
