Get Street Medics 20 hour trained! Rochester, NY

The Rochester Street Medic Collective is hosting a training the weekend of September 25th-27th.

With the current state of the world we foresee that our greater community will need care during these times of unrest as the powers that be continue to inflict violence on us while we continue to protest, rally, and turn to action.

We are trying to get as many people as we can safely trained at this moment with proper covid19 guidelines.

Our collective believes folks that want to help with first aid in a protest environment should be 20 hour street medic trained. Our curriculum covers practicing consent, street side manner, mental health first aid, first aid, community care tactics and much more.

To host such an event it will cost us money.
With money raised we will be able to
1. Supply students with medic bags which include crucial tools needed to practice street medicine
2. Fly Organizers here across the country & get them shelter.
3. Cover any other costs that may come up: food, shelter, etc.

This training will be free or sliding scale donation based to those who are accepted. By donating to this fundraiser, you will help educate folks in tactics to help keep protesters safe!
