Now, more than ever, families in our community need your help. Elevate BC is a Broward County-based 5019(c)3 nonprofit that matches families impacted by COVID-19 with individual or corporate "Givers" who donate directly to a family to cover urgent expenses like groceries and medical prescriptions. We partner with the Urban League of Broward County to identify families in need of support.
For impacted families within the program who have young children ages 3-6, Elevate BC also provides a free set of learn-to-read books. We accept donations via GoFundMe from businesses and individuals for those who prefer to donate via a credit card and not directly.
All funds collected are used to provide aid to families with urgent expenses and to help fund the donation of learn-to-read books to promote literacy in the community.
Founded by Alexis Peddy, a local high school student, Elevate BC aims to lift up the local community via generosity and genuine human connection in these uncertain times.
