Sponsored walk to Mossley AFC on Saturday 19th September
Our annual charity walk to the first Saturday away game for Ossett United falls on Saturday 19th September with a 30 mile trek over the Pennines to Mossley.
All monies raised will be split between Andy’s Man Club and Ossett United Supporters Club to help fund upcoming travel this season for players and coaching staff.
Walk itinerary is as follows: -
Leave Ingfield at 3.30am to head down the Greenway. We will then pass through Mirfield and Kirkheaton on our way into Huddersfield where we will pick up the canal trail towards Marsden. A slow climb will begin as we work our way to Diggle to then pass through Greenfield until we finally arrive in Mossley approx. 30miles later. We are aiming to arrive in The Commercial pub at 12pm where people travelling to the game can meet us there and walk the last mile uphill to the ground!
Monies can be donated via the following GoFundMe page and please can anyone who is interested in getting involved please let myself or Chris so we have an idea of numbers for food / sandwiches at our rendezvous points. All we ask is that walkers raise a £1 per mile if possible.

Train leaving Dewsbury 11.29am arrives at Mossley 12.16pm with a change at Hudderfield. £13 return.
