Arts Dynamics: Toolbox for Arts Entrepreneurs

The vision: a cutting edge digital Toolbox to help Purpose Driven Arts Entrepreneurs pivot and thrive.

It all began with a vision; a vision to make a difference and empower entrepreneurial artists and creatives with the strategies, tools and connections to pivot in these challenging times. And here we are, a few months later and the Arts Dynamics community has gone live; both as a free group on Facebook with a free livestream/podcast Arts Dynamics Talks series but also as a monthly entrepreneur mastermind with ongoing mentoring and support for those that want to take things to the next level. 

The next step now is to create a powerful toolbox which creative entrepreneurs, cultural teams and organisations around the world can use to stand out, scale up and make a difference. And this is where I need your help. Planned start date: 1 Oct 2020. 

My background and big why

I've been working in the performing arts for 20+ years as a stage manager, tour manager, producer, head of production and promoter. Both in various arts organisations such as the Royal Swedish Opera, The Royal Dramatic Theatre and the Malmo Opera House but also as a founder/CEO of my own London-based production company From Sweden Productions, working with orchestras, choirs, music for live events and much more. I've dedicated the past 12 years to focus especially on digital marketing, business development, online monetisation for the arts and how to get into flow as a purpose driven entrepreneurs, both on and off stage. 

Arts organisations often have their own structure, processes and systems to support their artistic projects, in-house activities and audience outreach. As entrepreneurs, freelancers, solo-artists and gig:ers however no-one gives you a handbook and tells you how to build and grow a sustainable arts business. Quite the opposite.

The Challenge

When Covid-19 hit, the cultural and creative industries suffered immensely and is predicted to be among the last to recover from this crisis. Theatres, performing arts companies, galleries, cultural organisations and entire eco systems within the arts are shutting down. Artists going bankrupt, struggling to get funding since many fall outside the system and don't qualify for governmental support. 

The Solution

On the other hand, there are many opportunities now opening up as a result of the current situation. I've been working with several mentors over the years, to figure out what works and how that can benefit the arts. As part of this I became a global partner for the arts with Roger Hamilton and Entrepreneurs Institute, and am using their entrepreneur tools, tweaking them to fit the Arts. Up until now I have done 1:1 briefings where arts entrepreneurs have used the existing tools to learn more about how to get into flow, both individually and in teams. 

My dream, and this is where you come in

My dream is to create a brand new digital Arts Dynamics toolbox, based on Rogers work, but fully adapted to the Arts which people can download and use to build and grow a sustainable arts business. The big goal is to empower 1000 arts entrepreneurs globally this way. 

The investment is 16500 USD (including platform fees) to create these tools from idea to roll-out but once its´ done they can be used by anyone from the artist that is just starting out to the creative owning several companies and making a global impact. It's that powerful! 

I firmly believe that no-one can do it all, but together we can move mountains. By helping me create these tools you help bring more arts into the world and change an entire industry for the better.
