Support EDGE Performing Arts Center

EDGE Performing Arts Center has been a leader in professional dance education since 1992 and regarded among the top five professional training studios in United States. The national dance publication, Dance Teacher Magazine, referred to EDGE as “the incubators of new talent in Los Angeles”. EDGE has inspired and trained decades of new professional dancers in Los Angeles as well as introducing many new instructors and choreographers in the business. Graduates of our professional programs are working throughout the industry in front of and behind the cameras as well as on Broadway. EDGE’s most recent addition to our training programs is the Academy at EDGE which is a licensed postsecondary school offering three Certificate programs. 

This year, after 5 months of mandatory in-person closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, the property where EDGE has been located for the past 28 years was sold. Unexpectedly, the new owners had a different vision. 

While EDGE is locating a new home, we will continue to offer Virtual classes and new, Video-On-Demand classes so students can continue to take from their favorite teachers. Our goal is to be in our new studio by the beginning of 2021 at which time all of our programs and the Academy will fully resume. 

We started this Go Fund Me account because so many people who believe in what we do and want us to continue have asked to make a donation. No amount is too small and every bit will go to making this happen.  

We appreciate the immense outpouring of support we’ve received from the community and beyond as we go through this challenging time.  

Thank you for helping us to keep the spirit alive and continue to inspire and bring the highest quality of dance training to future generations to come. We’re not done yet.
