Care socie e cari soci,
sono trascorsi sette mesi da quando il Trenta Formiche ha chiuso le porte.
Sette mesi di riflessioni, incertezze, paure, sbandamenti, ma anche di battaglie, volontariato e vera Resistenza.
Speravamo di poter riaprire dopo l’estate in un contesto sociale e sanitario migliore, senza restrizioni e con maggiori certezze sul futuro e sul contrasto alla pandemia. Purtroppo non sarà così.
Nonostante i timori e le remore non possiamo più attendere, siamo costretti a far fronte alle spese vive accumulate in questi mesi se non vogliamo incorrere nella chiusura definitiva dell’associazione. Temiamo, però, che l’attività contingentata che proveremo a proporre non garantirà il sostegno necessario, pertanto ci vediamo obbligati a chiedervi una mano!
Abbiamo cercato di evitarlo, nonostante le numerose manifestazioni di supporto. Ci sembrava una richiesta fuori luogo in un momento di disagio economico tragico e diffuso.
Oggi ci ritroviamo costretti a ripensarci e a chiedere un contributo a tutti coloro che si sentono orfani di uno spazio che ha rappresentato una seconda casa. Un apporto decisivo, senza il quale, probabilmente, mancherebbero i presupposti di sostenibilità per continuare la nostra attività, soprattutto in questo contesto legislativo.
Col vostro aiuto proveremo a rialzare ad ottobre la serranda con una proposta rivisitata nel rispetto delle prescrizioni anti-covid. Non è la creatività a mancare. Quello che manca, e tanto, è il vostro calore e i momenti vissuti assieme all’interno di quelle mura, e ci rivolgiamo proprio a coloro che condividono questa malinconia e che riconoscono l’importanza della promozione di una contro-cultura resistente e di una socialità alternativa, che il Trenta Formiche ha esercitato in quasi 10 anni di attività.
Per riuscire a festeggiare i dieci anni assieme, per tagliare il traguardo dei due lustri, è di vitale importanza soddisfare parte dei debiti accumulati e realizzare necessari lavori di manutenzione dopo una chiusura così prolungata.
La somma di questi impegni è stimata intorno ai 15.000 euro ma riuscire a raggiungere il traguardo della campagna per noi sarebbe già molto.
Grazie a chi può tanto, a chi può poco e a chi non può niente ma che in questi anni ci ha supportato. Anche la semplice condivisione e diffusione della campagna può aiutare.

seven months went by since the Trenta Formiche has been closed.
Seven months of thoughts, uncertainties, fears, disorientation, but also seven months of battles, charity work and true resistance.
We were hoping overall to reopen the doors after the summer hiatus, in a renewed social and sanitary setting, without restrictions and with a shining light on the future and on the fight of this pandemic. Unfortunately it is not going to be like this.
In spite of dread and hesitation, we cannot wait anymore: we have to pay the bills otherwise we have to definitively shut down. We need your help, we won't be able to sustain our activities by working in a limited capacity. We tried to avoid asking for help, especially in this complicated moment for the economy and for everyone, but we have to.
We are asking you for a contribution, especially if you are feeling orphaned of a space that has represented a home for all of our members. Without your help we won't be able to continue, given the current restrictions in place.
With your help we will try our best to reopen our doors in October, with a new offer, following all the covid regulations. It's not our creativity that is missing, but we do miss your warmth and to stay with you inside those walls.
We are counting on you, who share with us this absence and that recognize the importance of an enduring counterculture and of an alternative social space that Trenta Formiche offered you in this last 10 years.
To celebrate this 10 years together is essential to pay off part of the debts that we accumulate during the lockdown, and to perform the required maintenance after this extended closing. We estimate that we will need 15000 euros, but if we can reach the fundraising goal it will be amazing.
