Fords Fight-Robert Ford

Wakefield Fire Local 1478 needs your help. One of our members Lieutenant Robert Ford after visiting with his doctor for minor abdominal pain was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has since spread to his lungs.  Needless to say this news has hit his family and friends hard.  Anyone who knows the Ford's understand what  a giving family they our.  Rob a 15 year member of Wakefield Fire Dept  is married to his childhood sweetheart Michelle a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Beverly Hospital. Together Rob and Michelle our raising three beautiful children in their hometown of Wakefield.  Their oldest son Robert is a freshman at Bryant University in Rhode Island, Caroline is entering her Junior year at Wakefield High and their youngest Michael is starting his freshman year at Wakefield High. 

Rob and his family will begin this journey with a team of doctors at Dana- Farber in Boston . Rob has recently started his chemotherapy treatments and will continue to be treated for the next two months and then be reevaluated.
