Dear Family and Friends,
It is with a saddened heart and deepest regret that I am writing to let you know about the loss of our beloved Jonathan W. Allmond, fondly known as Wes, Solo, and DJ Solo, who suddenly passed away on September 8, 2020.
Wes was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Sadly, he leaves behind his wife, Sarah, and their two young daughters: Danielle (6) and Alexa (4).
Wes was an entrepreneur in the truest sense of the word and was the hardest working person we all knew. It was through his entrepreneurial work ethic that he positively affected so many people’s lives in so many different ways. He was never too busy to help anyone out and took so many people under his wing out of the goodness and graciousness of his heart to give advice or to help them start careers of their own.
Family, friends, and music meant everything to Wes and everything he did in life revolved around those three pillars of sustainability. Wes was a DJ, promoter, producer, booking agent, entrepreneur, and considered a St. Louis legend among the hip hop and marketing/promotions industries. He left the world a better place by the profound and positive impact he had on society and everyone he met.
We are all devastated by the sudden passing of Wes. He always gave everybody 100% of himself. Now is the time for everyone to give back to Wes and his family and reassure him from up above that they will be taken care of during this very difficult time.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the unexpected expenses that lie ahead for Sarah and her two daughters as they prefer to continue living in their existing home. Please consider donating as it would truly help Sarah and the girls as they try to move forward. We appreciate your support.
