Danny's Memorial Fund
Danny James McClintock
11/16/1956 - 9/1/2020
Beloved husband and father, Danny, died suddenly from pneumonia, which can happen as a complication from a stroke (he had one 1 year ago). The funds will be used for paying off medical bills and related costs. The family, also, wants to thank everyone who already donated via Venmo for helping to cover the immediate funerary and cremation costs!
From his daughter, Hayley:
"He is the greatest man I've ever known and has been a life partner, guiding me and letting me find myself in life, encouraging me to do what I want, find my way, and never letting me forget how much he loves me. from my dad I received so much support. I can't count how many times he would appear to save me from a broken down car, helping to move set pieces for musicals, teaching me how to cook (meat predominately), and working every day of his life to support his family - my mom, myself and my four sisters. He'd call me just to chat and loved to sing with me. He's the only one I can really watch baseball with because he has all the best and most interesting facts and stories about the players.
My dad is a joyous person. He is a community man. He would walk into any situation and befriend the person there. He would help anyone with his special skills: fixing, finding, and building. He would get discounts all around town just by knowing the folks. I'll never stop aspiring to the curiosity he has about any person he comes across, wondering where he can make a connection. People were always drawn to him, enjoying conversation and just giving him things. Anything you needed, he'd somehow acquire.
He loves good food, bbq, drinking a corona with lime, or with two olives which he called 'the Texan'. He loves wooden boxes, especially cigar boxes with interesting details. He loves gathering little treasures, even rescuing a little marble in the parking lot to put with some other oddities in a box. He loves going to look at thrift and antique shops, especially ones that just look like a bunch of junk, and he'd find something special."
