Alexandria Senior Citizen needs Joystick 4 Scooter

Hello! My name is Allegra Joffe Fahringer, I am an advocate for the older adult community. I currently volunteer and work to help promote older adult work and resources. I co-lead the Millennial 50+ Ambassadors of Northern VA and I am the Executive Director of Let's Connect LLC- we provide social connection programs for older adults. We are raising funds with Mobility City of Fairfax, Director Bennet Helfgott for a lower income senior citizen, Mr. CH to get funds to replace his joystick and battery for his scooter/power chair. 

Mr. Ch  lives in the Alexandria area has a power chair  that he uses around the home and more importantly he uses to get around to do his errands since walking any extended distances is difficult . Mobility City of Fairfax are replacing a joystick that has some control issues as well as the charging port that is  worn out. Mr. Ch will also need a new charger for the power chair. All together we are looking to raise $549 which will cover all the replacements, delivery and manual labor to get Mr. Ch independent and mobile again. Any Donation is appreciated and please share our efforts- We would love to get Mr. Ch scooting around as soon possible!
