Hi everybody!
As many of you know by now, or as some of you may not know, I have, very recently, officially started the process to physically transition from female to male.
I have always felt, deep in my heart, that something was missing. Even after overcoming the hurdle of accepting myself and coming out as a teenager, I was closer to finding who I really wanted to be, but as I realized later, I was not really quite there yet. As I achieved many major accomplishments in my adult life - from graduating college and going to culinary school, to working officially in my career - I felt a stronger pull to make more sense of my identity and the conflict I had been feeling for so long inside.
Flash forward to about 6 months ago! I started doing a ton of research, I confided in people close to me, I prayed, and finally...I knew. It was time.
So here, today, an official month on hormone replacement therapy and many other works in progress, I feel more and more like myself everyday. The process has not been without its struggles and setbacks, but I am so incredibly thankful for the love and support that I’ve received thus far.
As the journey moves forward (as do expenses lol) I ask you all to please help me in any way you can - and please share as much as you can with others that may want to help as well! Every little bit counts!
What you can’t donate monetarily, I ask that you please give in your thoughts, prayers, kind words of motivation and continued moral support. I’ll definitely be needing it :)
