Victim of fires in Talent and Pheonix Oregon
Donation protected
My name is William. I am a recent transplant to southern Oregon. I came out here to work and there is devastation from wildfires that scorched half the State. This is Ricardo he is a disabled American vet who lost everything when he was woken from sleep to vacate his home. He sustained injuries while trying to get out and is banged up and is faced with possibly being homeless in 3 days. He has been living in a hotel for 10 days and his funding from FEMA and the red Cross is up and he will be living on the street His only family his brother is in the same situation therefore he has no other means once his time is up. This man served his country and the V.A. apologized but said there is nothing they can do for him. There is something we can do as a nation that remembers it's heroes and steps up when it's time for us to serve those who served us. Please help me to keep Ricardo and others like him to make it until the rebuilding process is done. The need for supplies toiletries, food, clothing, and basic needs is critical and temporary housing is not easy to secure. Anything you can do is appreciated and will help to provide supplies and housing to those in need imagine if this happened to you. Thank you very much for reading this God Bless
