TV Manette Sign: Refurbish and Relight
Donation protected
The TV Manette sign was built in 1953 and it has since been a signature landmark for the area.
The iconic TV Manette Sign was taken down in August 2020 to prepare for the remodel of the Manette Health's new building, set to open in 2021. Removing the sign was the first step of Manette Health owner, Tanya Spoon's plan to revitalize the former appliance store that closed in 2011. Spoon bought the building in 2018 and has been working to transform it into a "medical work-share space," where independent medical providers can rent exam rooms or space for private practices (physical therapy, chiropractors, massage therapy, counseling, etc.) and the future home of The Manette Clinic.
It will cost about $60,000 to refurbish, relight and re-install the sign once the building construction is complete. The sign renovation cost is above our budget for the Manette Health building remodel. This is why we need your help to bring the sign back. Everything raised will go toward the sign renovation, no monetary profit will be made.
