'THE SHOW MUST GO ON"

As many have done, I want my upcoming birthday (September 24th...where I will be eligible to sing the old Beatles' song, "When I'm 64"!) to benefit others. There are many worthy and urgent causes that are getting their rightful attention and support, but the Arts (particularly since they don't have a current "product" to offer) are easily forgotten.  We want these groups to remain viable so that when circumstances change, groups like Valley Youth Theater and Phoenix Theatre are still here to continue to add to our quality of life here in the Valley.

Valley Youth Theater (VYT) was started by one of my first patients in practice, and has been in existence for 32 years.  Thousands of children have gone through their program, and while notables like Emma Stone and Jordin Sparks got their performing starts at VYT, most alumni have benefited from their involvement (like we see from youth sports) in their day-to-day activities.  https://www.vyt.com/ 

The second group I an supporting is "Phoenix Theatre," who just celebrated their 100th anniversary! They are the oldest live theatre group west of the Mississippi, with an incredible national reputation.  Unfortunately, this past season was the first time in their impressive history that their schedule was interrupted. https://www.phoenixtheatre.com/

In addition to this donation page, my office will be dedicating a day (Friday, October 23rd) where all proceeds from eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses will be donated to these two wonderful groups.  Details about scheduling an appointment on that day will follow, but if you want any additional information now, you can message me.
