Wykstrom Cancer Care Fund

About two and a half years ago, my friend Shane (aka Wykstrom) was diagnosed with cancer.  It's a very aggressive and rare form of abdominal cancer (only about 1 in 150,000 cancer patients are diagnosed with this type of cancer). He has battled with it since then with various surgeries and chemotherapy. He's been in and out of hospitals and hospice care. On top of the cancer, he has recently suffered a stroke. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse, and he is currently back in hospice care. His mother has not worked, so that she could stay home and take care of him, so her financial situation has suffered greatly. She is approximately $75,000 in debt and has used up all her of savings over taking care of him. I am one of his closest friends, having known him for around 35 years or so, and I've created this campaign on the behalf of his family in an attempt to help recoup at least some of the costs that have been expended so far.
