Sunny Strong Fundraiser

We are Quip Nation and we are supporting Antonyo "Sunny" Anderson and his Mother, Maureka Russell in his transition from inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient.  

On May 25th, our #8, Antonyo "Sunny" Anderson, an upcoming Senior, was shot in the Valley Terrace area of Quip. There are no words to describe what our Quip Football family is feeling about this senseless act of violence. It is now our collective job to help this young man who had an amazing Junior year, cope with the loss of possibly not stepping onto the field this fall in the capacity that not only we were expecting him to play, but in the high standard that he had set for himself.

Quip Nation, this young man and his Mother are going to need our support. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him both physically and mentally. They are going to need our continuous thoughts and prayers, but they are also going to need our financial support.

Once we know what his recovery process is going to be, we will let the Nation know. There is going to be a very empty space in our fieldhouse as we prepare for the upcoming season and the uncertainty if Sunny will be there physically.
