Relief For Children's Montessori Preschool

Children's Montessori Preschool (formerly Christian Montessori Preschool) has been educating and providing preschoolers and their families a caring and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum for over 25 years.
COVID-19 and the ensuing pandemic has had such a negative impact on so many small businesses in our country. Unfortunately, my Mother's preschool is currently down 93% over last year. The current situation is unsustainable and she will be forced to close before the end of the year. It would be such a shame to see another long standing Los Alamos business that was doing so well before the pandemic go under.
I have helped her modify the classroom environment with plexiglass and physical dividers, and she has implemented the State's Rapid Response Training Protocols to make it as safe as possible for everyone. Even still, with so many other businesses and the public schools temporarily closed down, the demand for daycare is at an all time low. I have no doubt that eventually the demand will return, but with all of the business savings now depleted she will not make it until then. Attempts to secure CARES grant money have also been unsuccessful.
We need the help of our community and families more than ever. Any donations will be used to pay rent and utilities to keep the doors open until normalcy returns.
