After our sweet momma fought for her life, she lost her life on Tuesday December 1st. Jaxson and I are extremely heartbroken and don’t know how to do life without our parents but I know we will figure it out. Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped us financially and thank you to everyone who will do so in the future. Anything and everything given we are extremely thankful for and will help us out a ton. Thank you everyone.

As most of you know, our sweet mom Jami is fighting for her life in the ICU with COVID and double pneumonia. For the first couple of weeks, things were looking good and she was making great progress. Unfortunately, on Sunday, November 22nd, Mom took steps backward and ultimately had to be put on a high flow delivery device. Even with continued prayers and monitoring by her incredible medical team, early Wednesday morning her doctor called and informed us that in order to save her life, emergency intubation and placement on a ventilator were necessary.
Currently, Mom is continuing to fight for her life on the ventilator. Thankfully, she has responded very well and is taking the baby steps forward that her medical team is wanting! The doctors have agreed and they are slowly working to ween her off the ventilator! Please continue to pray that she is able to recover, that her lungs continue to heal, and that eventually, they will be able to completely remove her from the ventilator. We need our Momma home, she is the glue that holds our family together, serving as both our Dad and Mom. Many if not all of you know that 7 years ago, we lost our Dad to kidney failure after a battle with prostate cancer. It is almost inconceivable that Jaxson and I could be parentless. It is the biggest fear that either of us has.
Unfortunately, Jaxson and I are going to need all the help we can get. It is extremely difficult for us to ask for help, but we know that there is no way that we will be able to do this on our own.
Thank you for all the support that has been sent our way. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. We can not begin to thank you all enough for all of the generosity that has already been displayed. Please know that we hate the fact that we need to ask for help. Any assistance you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated! Thank you most of all for your continued prayers for Mom!
