Help For Camilla Severin's Urgent Medical Needs

Thank you for stopping by our Go Fund Me page for our dear friend Camilla Severin. Camilla is a 29 year old artist, costume designer and is best known for her cosplay videos on Tiktok and Instagram. Her intention is to bring some joy and sunshine into people’s lives as best she can. She has literally inspired millions of people around the world to be positive and live happier, and mostly at her own expense. What people don’t know is what is happening to her behind her smiles.

Camilla’s medical expenses have gotten beyond her ability to afford. On top of her medicine such as insulin and other prescriptions to help her maintain her health and life, she also requires urgent surgery and treatments to stop her from going blind and help treat her neuropathy. Currently, just her medication costs over $5000 DKK per month. This does not even cover her treatments and surgeries required. She desperately needs our help. Every donation makes a difference and 100% of the donations go to Camilla to help her with the many expenses this costs her each month. The funds will be sent to Camilla by her friend and campaign organizer, Christopher Gour. Here is what our dear friend is dealing with on a daily basis.

Camilla has type 1 diabetes but sadly is also immune to insulin which means she is essentially being poisoned by ketone, which slowly kills the organs and muscles, causing incredible pain and sometimes leads to a coma. A side effect of this is diabetic neuropathy, a disease that attacks the nerves, meaning she now has no feeling in her legs and is unable to feel the difference between hot and cold. This also is extremely painful, on top of her diabetes. Camilla also has autonomic neuropathy, which attacks the internal organs, leading to several gastrointestinal diseases, and the subsequent pain and discomfort that follows. It makes it hard to eat and digest food and is a disease that you can die from as it attacks the heart and lungs first. Dizziness and blackouts are too common, sometimes rendering her unconscious for several hours. This is very dangerous as she could be cooking, bathing, or crossing a road when it happens. Her vision has gone from 80% to 13% in a matter of days and at the moment is desperately trying to get treatment and medication before she loses her sight completely. She also suffers from arthritis in her joints making the times she can walk around excruciating. This is pretty much just a list of diseases and conditions that she has, but now imagine what it must be like to just have ONE of them. And then there’s the mental health that suffers because of the constant pain and worry. Paranoid schizophrenia, depression, anxiety plague her mind whilst the rest plagues her body.



And she would never tell you. It’s not something one would want to share with the world. So this is why we, as her friends have taken it upon ourselves to ask for your help because it’s at the point where if she doesn't get the right treatment and medication urgently, it genuinely will pass a point of no return. She has had no luck with her countries national health system, and the waiting times are either too long or non-existent. She needs to go private so that the right specialists will see her and she can start proper, more expensive medication, and eventually, with your help she will recover.



Camilla suffers so much, and does nothing but give, most of the time at her own expense. She’s thoughtful, empathic, kind-hearted, and patient to everyone, even those who troll her on her social media, which she has taken some time away from. The world needs more people like her, people that will try their hardest to make the world a little better for as many people as possible. Her life is going to be severely shorter than yours or ours. We just want to give her a chance to have a quality of life, the kind that she tries so hard to afford everyone else. So please, help us keep our amazing friend alive.
