This 300 year old country pub in Faversham, is not only an independent, historic pub, it is home to our family. Having to initially close due to the Corona Virus, then to be allowed to only partially open for a few months, followed by various changes to how we can trade has made the going tough for us, like so many businesses.
A number of people who have asked if they can help this quintessential British pub survive by donating something.
After a lot of thought we decided to offer people the chance to help out by making a donation through gofundme. We have not been able to trade properly since March 2020. Although we can now trade in the garden and open the inside of the pub from 17th May 2021 Covid restrictions have limited our capacity and we are not out of the woods yet.
If you would like to help that would be great, but we also appreciate the many people who have contacted us to wish us well and are very grateful for their concern and moral support.
