Seed Song Farm & Center was founded in 2016 as a community-minded nonprofit and mission driven business. With a mission to re-kindle reverence for the land through healthy farm food and experiences for ALL. Since the founding of the farm and center, Seed Song has grown its CSA annually, expanded farming operations on its historic 215 acre property, become a gathering place for the community and offered access to the land each fall through u-pick pumpkins, events and educational programming.
Looked at in the context of Seed Song's short 5 year history in Kingston, there is clearly something unique and capable about our spirited team and community that has allowed, even amid hard times, for us to grow even deeper into our more-urgent-than-ever mission.
It is through your donation that we plan to:
-Expand community access to our land through year round programming and a diversified u-pick operation.
-Continue to offer sliding scale pricing through our CSA and education program so there’s a seat at the table for everyone.
-Expand and empower our community volunteers, education program and farming operation through the investment in a management team to support our director, farm crew and camp counselors. We believe investing in people is community farming.
-To have the financial means to continue pivoting and reimagine our offerings to meet the needs of our community during these unprecedented times as we have shown through the hard and intelligent work of our team and generosity of our extended farm family.
