In Kenya, around 40% of students lack adequate, or basic, reading skills by the time they complete eighth grade; interrupted schooling, untrained teachers, and low-quality curriculum programs are all factors. Sunflower Global understands that ensuring every child the opportunity to succeed by creating access to high-quality education, coupled with an equal distribution of resources, is the solution to this challenge. 

Sunflower Global is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality education to vulnerable school girls in Nairobi, Kenya. At Sunflower Global, we build high-quality, low-cost primary and secondary schools, accelerate girls' and young women's leadership potential through exposure and exchange programs, and fight for institutional and policy change to build a better world for all children.
