MG ZS EV Remote Functions and Development

We have got some way in reverse engineering the MG ZS EV, but now we need some financial help to fund further development.
I (Mike Abbott) have been behind most of the work we have done so far, and we have been able to pull together a very effective group of people to write code, test hardware, and really understand how our MGs work. We can proudly say we have now got some level of OVMS support (and quite a bit of data!).
But we have hit a hitch, and I think we need to setup a bounty to persuade an owner to collect data from a Thai/Indian car using their app. This data should enable us to bring you the most important feature that everyone wants: an app for remote/timed pre-heat and pre-cool.
I propose the following distrubution of funds:
20% - Bounty for CAN Logs of Remote Climate Control (from a Thai/Indian Car)
2% per function - Bounty for CAN Logs of Other Remote Functions (from a Thai/Indian Car)
20% - Working code for OVMS of remote climate control
10% per Device - Support for additional devices e.g bluetooth dongles, Android and iOS
20% - Ongoing Fund for MG reverse Engineering
I propose this distribution to help not only with this short term hitch, but also to help with a lot of our future work. I will personally document the funding allocation and spending on the Discourse group with full transparancy.

If we are unsuccessful with our core endevour (remote pre-conditioning), then the remaining money (not allocated or awarded) will be sent to a charity of community choice in January 2022 ( via a 7 day poll on MG EV Owners facebook group).
I hope you can help us with this work. The more we raise, the higher that bounty will be, and the more we can support development! We will continue to share all our findings for all to see. This data sharing helps make your cars better with new features, greater understanding, and improved community support.
