How and when will the money be used?
Another interesting story is that I'm a full-time public-school history teacher. I've wanted to be a filmmaker since I was 13-years-old, so I'm also a part-time TV and film producer. Over the past four years, Kitty's film production, which cost over $35,000, has been worth every penny. However, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, I am unable to physically attend film festivals to meet distributors and sell the Kitty Daniels documentary to a streaming platform for the world to enjoy.
One film festival was held this year and Kitty Daniels with Majid Shabazz Jazz Legends won the Best Short Documentary Film Award. A huge thank you to the judges at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Her 2020 goal is to raise $20,000 so she can pay for the final production and search for a distributor, like Ava DuVernay's ArrayNow or Netflix.
