Miss IL USA 2021

(**The noted fund goal is an estimated amount. However, I am quite frugal, and given the unprecedented times, whatever is not needed to cover pageant costs will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.)

Hi! My name is Felisa Wiley, and I am representing Downers Grove in the Miss IL USA pageant being held this March 2021. I am incredibly excited to participate in this pageant and to meet and compete with great women from all across the state. While by nature I’m very independent, to cover the costs of this pageant, I’m reaching out to family, friends, supporters, and businesses to help cover certain costs.

I was born and raised in St. Thomas, USVI, and now live in Illinois, where my family has had roots for over 20 years.  I have a BA from Muhlenberg College and after graduation, I worked as a model in LA & NY. For the past several years, I have worked in sales for a location data company, but my sights are set on attending law school in the near future.

I love being involved in my community and strive to be a part of something bigger than myself. I have volunteered at local soup kitchens, dog shelters, after-school elementary school literacy programs, and have hosted numerous fundraisers and events for the Alzheimer's Association in honor of my grandmother.

I also enjoy taking on new challenges, especially those that might broaden my horizons. Although I have modeling experience and have competed in a modeling competition on a national reality TV show, I am new to the pageant world; and can’t wait to see what new things I can learn from this experience. Competing in this pageant could lead to new opportunities, great networking, and if I win, representing IL in the Miss USA pageant!
