Medical Expenses For Laura

Meet Laura!

She is a fun-loving, adventurous girl, with a heart for others. She loves children, her family, and her books. 

In September of 2019, she was working as a CNA, when a nasty cold turned into pneumonia and then a hospital visit. While undergoing testing, and x-rays, the Dr's discovered swollen lymph nodes. After several months, she got checked up again, and was diagnosed in January 2020, with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes and immune system.

The good news is, that after many months of tests, treatments, and more tests, the cancer is  dying off and she is getting better, as of December 2020.

The bad news is, she has been undergoing treatments and testing for over a year now, and, as you might imagine, has incurred a huge medical debt that's only getting bigger by the month. 

As a single woman with no current income, she needs our financial help. 

She is currently doing treatments at the Dr Contreras Clinic in Mexico, where she is undergoing six rounds of immunotherapy and chemotherapy, with a cost of well over $30,000 per treatment.

As her sister and brother-in-law, we have a goal of raising enough money for at least one round of treatments. 

If all of our friends gave $10, $50, $100, or more, it would be more than enough to cover it.
