A Friend in need, a time to give

It’s definitely been a tough year on all of us. And it’s affected some people far deeper than others. Small businesses, restaurants (and all of their staff),family and friends. An industry we’ve almost completely lost sight of in the shuffle of priorities, is the events and entertainment industry. There are no live shows, no concerts, no parades, no performances. It has all been lost to the pandemic, and not just for the consumer, but for the very people we rely on to make those dreams and experiences the precious moments of our lives.
Having said that, I feel compelled to try and do something, however small, for someone who has helped so many to make memories that will last through their lifetimes.

Everyone has suffered this year but some more than others. A local family that I know, is suffering tremendously, just as many of us are, but this year fate has struck countless blows. A major motor vehicle accident,surgery, layoffs, (the husband has been forced to change jobs almost too many time s to count, doctor visits, and medical bills pilling up, the list is endless.   With three kids, the youngest just 18 months old,these are the toughest of times when even money for food is just out of reach. There is no safety net for people who have always worked;just the empty promises of  a world gone sour. I want to help this family who are not so different form you and I. If anyone out there can spare anything for this family collectively a little bit from a lot of people will go a long way!   Please, do what you can. I know it’s asking a lot, especially this year, but please help if you can. A good deed comes back a thousand fold. I believe that and I hope you do too.
