Nevaeh Grace West

Here's a little background on my story. My little Nevaeh was born 10/07/2020 she has been diagnosed with Trisomy21 which is down syndrome. She has been in the NICU since her birth and now makes 3 months and she has been transferred to Children's healthcare of Atlanta - Egleston awaiting heart surgery. I'm a mom of 5 and she is my miracle baby and she's in the hospital fighting for her life and has faced numerous hurdles since she was born. Her heart condition is causing her to require oxygen to breathe she's had fluid on her lungs a few times and is unable to feed on her own or with a bottle so her feeds are through a tube in her intestines. She has low muscle tone and requires physical therapy during her stay at the hospital.

I've been very stressed out dealing with the birth of my child that is sick and soon after I gave birth to her I developed post-partum preeclampsia which made my blood pressure rise extremely high which left me hospitalized 5-10 times and unable to work. I've been on so many different medications that failed to work for my migraines and blood pressure. All to come to find out my headaches were caused by  blood clots in my veinus system in my brain. Now I'm going through treatment for this which was unplanned. The pandemic has made it so hard with me doing tele-school with my kids and me and my mom trying to do this alone. I have (2)5th graders (1) 1st grader and a Pre-k student. I'm not working at the moment due to health issues and being the primary care taker of my children. The kids schools and daycares keep switching from virtual to face to face and right back to virtual and I'm trying to do doordash and other applications just to make some money.  I don't ask for much I just need prayers and hopefully things get better.
