Car stolen while volunteering: Help Salvador!

On New Year's Eve, Salvador Mendoza was finishing up his last food and supply delivery to a family in need when his car was stolen, and later found totaled beyond repair.
Salvador is a member of the Northwest Side Housing Center's Rapid Response Team, a group of Belmont Cragin residents who help coordinate the delivery of essential goods like PPE, groceries, and baby supplies to families who have been among the hardest hit by this pandemic.
The NWSHC and Cara Chicago are helping Salvador file an insurance claim and connecting him with some emergency cash + resources, but we are asking for your support to help him cover the cost of a new car.
As a Rapid Response worker, Salvador puts himself on the front-lines daily to ensure his fellow community members have food on the table and household necessities on-hand. Any help you can give will go a long way to help Salvador get back on the road and in the community!
