Fund Three Year Soil: A Farmstead Documentary

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Ian Thomas, and I am a 22 year old filmmaker in Grand Junction, Colorado. This last year has opened my eyes to just how necessary strong communities, healthy people, and fighting climate change is to preserving our collective future. Luckily, three years ago, Dawn & Brian of Green Junction Farmstead took the leap to do just that!

100% of your donations will go towards telling the story of their sustainable farm, their community, how the techniques they are refining bring life to soil and our planet. Any remaining funds will be donated to a charity of Dawn & Brians choosing!

Donations will be used for licensing of music, archival pictures and footage, transportation, backup hard drives, Production Assistants, and film festival submissions.

I'm hoping to reach my goal of $12,000 by April 30th to make sure that I can realize the full potential of this film. There is an incredibly unique opportunity here. Larger budget documentaries focusing on global implications of soil health are amazing and incredibly important (Kiss The Ground on Netflix) but lack focus on the individual lives and communities affected by living soil, healthy food, and tight-knit communities.

If we hope to tackle climate change in a meaningful way, viewing both challenges and solutions in a personal manner is absolutely essential!

Along with the entire Green Junction Community, I am incredibly grateful for your donation, however big or small. Together, we can strengthen communities, inspire change, and look forward to a brighter future. Thank You!
