Taking Nnamdi's The Hail Mary to the Next Level
Donation protected
The Hail Mary, filmed and produced in Montana, is the remarkable first feature film by Nnamdi Kanaga. It has already been placed in The African Film Festival in Dallas, Texas and the International Bozeman Film Festival. But it is expensive to get films accepted into film festivals, and your help is needed.
The Hail Mary tells the story of a father and his son as they make a desperate effort to reestablish a meaningful connection. This film evokes cultural stereotypes only to refuse to cede an inch to them, insisting, instead, that we are always more than the quick sketches of others—or ourselves—might lead us to believe.
Funds raised will pay post-production expenses including color correction, picture editing, sound editing, as well as entry fees into film festivals that will be instrumental in promoting Nnamdi's film and message.
Your support can make all the difference in getting this independent film in front of many more viewers. Thank you!
