Hello, my name is Abbie Glir and I am a professional cellist and I want to tell you my story.
I was diagnosed three years ago with very aggressive Multiple Sclerosis, I went from being a "healthy" person to having symptoms where they were found, the total loss of balance when walking, the loss of sensitivity from the waist down, facial paralysis of half the face, loss of vision in one eye, muscle weakness and a lot of pain among many other symptoms.
I went from having a normal life to being completely dependent and afraid for months, it's not pleasant to see food falling out of your mouth, you have to walk supported by someone or your own mother has to shower you at 28 years old, it was really a testing time that I do not wish anyone to experience.
The mental struggle was incredible, but my faith in God brought me out.
I always had the dream of recording a solo album, but getting sick and seeing that the possibility of not being able to do it in the future could be real, made me not want to wait until tomorrow.
Today and for now, thanks to the mercy of God, I am on my feet and recovered from these symptoms but I continue to fight against this disease and trying to fight for my dreams, every day which is to be able to show my music to the world with the best quality possible, but the
Tomorrow only God knows, that's why I want to do everything possible to achieve my goals today and be able to inspire others with my life and faith.
I know that music is a means that helps heal other people's pain and I want to be able to help you in this too.
My role as a musician is to bring peace, comfort and joy through my music and I want to put my knowledge at your disposal.
For this I ask for help from everyone who wants to help me achieve my dream, becoming sponsors and contributing the donation they want.
With this money I intend to record a new high-quality album and if I reach the goal, get a new cello with which to make better music.
In the meantime, I dedicate myself to continuing working, playing as much as I can and continuing to entertain my listeners everyday.

Hola, mi nombre es ABBIE GLIR y soy violonchelista profesional.
Soy Cristiana y fui diagnosticada con Esclerósis Múltiple (muy agresiva) hace tres años, mi trabajo es hacer feliz y bendecir a las personas mediante mi musica, cosa a lo que estoy enteramente dedicada.
Actualmente estoy terminando mi carrera en interpretación musical.
Hago este crowdfunding como ya sabéis , con la expectativa de encontrar mecenas que puedan ayudarme a recaudar fondos para mi nuevo proyecto musical.
Como ya sabréis la mayoría de vosotros, este sector desde que empezó la pandemía se paralizó completamente y se ha visto muy afectado, por lo que pensé en hacer uso de este medio para poder seguir con mi actividad.
Sé que en España este tipo de campañas no son muy usuales, pero conozco que en Estados Unidos es algo que muchos otros artistas usan para poder llevar a cabo proyectos que requieren un porte económico tan elevado como este.
Por lo que pensé: ¿ Por qué no intentarlo?.
Mi sueño es poder recaudar el dinero suficiente para poder comprarme un nuevo instrumento de una calidad ya acorde a mi nivel, para poder seguir mejorando como profesional y también para poder hacer algo que llevo años soñando, grabar mi propio disco en solitario.
Esto es algo que llevo teniendo más de diez años en mi corazón pero a raíz de mi diagnóstico, me decidí a no esperar más.
Sé que es un sueño que Dios puso en mi corazón pero mi diagnóstico hizo decidirme por no esperar más para llevarlo a cabo.
El objetivo de mi música es bendecir y hacer feliz a todas las personas que la escuchen.

Si logramos llegar a la meta, el dinero recaudado irá directo a la compra de un nuevo violoncello, la realización de mi proyecto musical personal, el cual constará de: la grabación de un disco, creación de mi página web y varios videoclips profesionales.
Cada donante una vez realizado el proyecto podrá disfrutar de mi música de forma gratuita ya que será partícipe de la creación de este, también su nombre aparecerá como mecenas en mis vídeos realizados en el apartado de agradecimientos e iré informando de cada paso que vaya dando en la realización del proyecto.
