In seguito all'esplosione a San Lorenzo Nuovo (Viterbo), Marco, Gigi, Trisha e Piero hanno perso tutto: la loro cantina è stata sventrata.
L'intera annata 2022 è andata distrutta e ora c'è il rischio che il colpo abbia compromesso anche i serbatoi per il 2023, che non sono comunque accessibili per il momento, visto che l'area è posta sotto sequestro.
Senza giri di parole: hanno bisogno del nostro aiuto.
️Stiamo raccogliendo fondi per aiutarli a rimette in piedi la loro cantina. Vorremmo fare qualcosa di concreto per persone che amiamo e che si trovano in una situazione difficile.

Patricia Nelson a vent'anni aveva già vissuto in una mezza dozzina di Paesi diversi, ma dopo essersi innamorata del cibo e del vino italiano, ha deciso di trasferirsi qui e non se n'è più andata. Con un'insaziabile sete di conoscenza, ha viaggiato in tutto il Paese lavorando al fianco di grandi vignaioli.
Oggi coltiva due ettari di vecchi vigneti con vista sul Lago di Bolsena, insieme a Piero, suo compagno musicista di talento che ha trascorso l'ultima decina d'anni a occuparsi di alcuni appezzamenti remoti e bellissimi appena oltre la collina di Trish.

La Selvara
La Selvara è un progetto vitivinicolo di Gigi e Marco che interagiscono con le piante, le persone e i luoghi nei dintorni tra Orvieto ed il lago di Bolsena.
Vigneti giovani e razionali, vecchi e promiscui o appena impiantati e rivolti al futuro.
Entrambe le cantine producono vino cercando di assecondare il più possibile i singoli vigneti ed esaltare il frutto che queste meravigliose piante riescono a dare loro ogni anno!

Patricia Nelson had already lived in half a dozen different countries by the time she was 20, but after falling in love with Italian food and wine, she decided to move here and never left. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, she traveled all over the country working alongside great winemakers.
Today she cultivates two hectares of old vineyards overlooking Lake Bolsena, along with Piero, a talented musician who has spent the last decade tending some remote and beautiful plots just over the hill from Trish.
La Selvara
La Selvara is a wine project of Gigi and Marco interacting with the plants, people and places in the surroundings between Orvieto and Lake Bolsena.
Vineyards that are young and rational, old and promiscuous or newly planted and facing the future.
Varied hillsides: from those of volcanic origin on the side of Lake Bolsena, to sandy lands with sandstones and marls on the slopes of Mount Peglia near Orvieto.
Both wineries produce wine trying to indulge individual vineyards as much as possible and enhance the fruit that these wonderful plants manage to give them each year!
